Park Heater setting alarm off

The remote pre heater is setting the alarm off, I guess that's what it is because it only
goes off when it's activated...

Anybody else have this issue? Any remedies?

Surely if it's sensing warmth inside, activating the heater should de-activate interior alarm sensor?

Mrloudly,

There is something on GTR detailing a software update for 'Body Control Module Fuel Burning Heater Update' relating to a Cure for involuntary alarm sounding'. This is part of a Land Rover 'Assurance Programme' that will see all MY10 owners prior to a certain delivery date get an invitation back to the dealers for a series of software updates which are expected to cure a list of maladies. Chase your dealer and try and convince them to bump you up the queue - I did after a SmartKey fault locked by 4 month old baby in the car!

Has all the dealer service info but you have to subscribe.... a few people on here seem to have access though.

Good luck!

Had the software updated Monday under the Assurance Programme.

And assuredley as god made little green apples the alarm went off the following morning with the park heat on !

And the Sat Nav voice commands and radio didn't work.

Turned engine off, restarted and everything was back to normal Rolling Eyes MY10 TDV6 HSE, Alaska White, Ebony with Contrast, Park Heat, Paddle Shift, Privacy, Heated Steering Wheel, Extended & Premium Leather,
