Oh - IIRC the ETA timing is pretty poor - something to do with how average speed is calculated IIRC |

Its not bad. I have mine set to show ETA and it does seem to use your average speed rather than some arbitrary speed for the road. If you drive at 90mph on the motorway it will show an accurate ETA, then settle down to 60mph and it adjusts it. On my trip up north recently it added half an hour to the ETA after a while sitting at 60mph (traffic!). If it's the same as the Freelander one, if you touch the "button" that tells you how many miles/minutes remaining, it will give you a menu where you can select to show ETA instead. IIRC To store the current position - press the touchscreen at the cursor, it will ask if you want to make this the destination and remember it in the list of recent destinations. To go back to it later you have to use the list of "recent" destinations to get it back out in the future. I cannot remember how to edit the address. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Unlike handheld units like those from Garmin (which use the pre-programmed speed limit of the roads), the RRS unit without a doubt takes the actual current speed of the vehicle into account and adjusts the ETA accordingly. I prefer the RRS way of doing.

Touch the screen where it shows the time to destination and it will change to ETA.

Landlord, I prefer Head up to North up for the car satnav, but at work I am used to North-up for radars and electronic charts................................ 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
