2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Does this happen just after starting up or just during driving when the car has warmed up?

Both my TD6 FFRR and the 2.7RRS that I owned did this just after start up and it was a cooling fan for the gearbox or viscous coupling sorting itself out, on the 2.7 it was much louder than the on the FFRR but only lasted a few seconds, it never cut in during driving or after the first 25 yards of driving. I haven't noticed it on my TDv8. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Could be an issue peculiar to the 4.4 and there weren't a load of those sold, thus the amount of times someone might have seen it will be lower. Sit tight and if someone knows the answer, they will post.

Please don't start posting the same question all over the the forum Very Happy

You might also try posting the same question over on the US forums where there were lots more 4.4's sold as there were no diesel options there. www.rangerovers.net and go to the Sport section 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
