Airbag Red Warning Light

Some advice please - started the SC this morning - had been left out of the garage overnight. Car burst into life and then died instantly.
I had to give it some accelerator to run, although it didn't seem to go into 'auto choke'.
Now the red airbag warning light is illuminated on the dashboard. Dealer visit or fuse?

Not seen it with the airbag light coming on, but there have been a couple of TSBs for stumbling starts on the SC. Let us know if it happens again and we can drag up the relevant info... Thumbs Up

thanks Smoogle - it's in the dealer tomorrow and I will mention the stumbling start. The dealer advised me to call the emergency breakdown, however I guessed that it would eventually end up at a dealer. I'm interested to know whether this could have short-tracked the car being seen. Dealer has promised to try and look at it this week.

If you have LRA then it would have been recovered to the garage and you would have a free hire car while it is being fixed! If you deliver it broken to the dealer then you have to hire your own car! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thanks Tim. I'm on the phone first thing in the morning to find out if the dealer has a MY10 SC as a courtesy car - then it's a call to LRA. Thumbs Up

Fat chance - more likely you will be offered a Corsa or a FIAT 500 by Laqnd Rover Assist mate! Take a read at 4wheeldrivers thread about what he was offered while his TDv6 was in the fixer's shop 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yeah - clocked that. I was being a bit hopeful there. Looks like it's the fixie in the boot and a panted cycle back to the office after drop-off tomorrow. Thud
