REAR TENDS TO SIT HIGHER THAN THE FRONT

Hi have a 2008 TDV6 S , and have noticed that there is more gap between tyre and wheel arch on the back than the front , thus looks a bit raised at the rear.

Does it have self levelling suspension ?

Please let me know your views.

Thanks

It does, but it could be that you have a faulty ride height sensor. Worth dropping into your service dept - if they are faulty, they can be replaced under warranty Thumbs Up

Depends if it is entry level, standard ride height or full off road height you are talking about. The entry level and off road heights are standard heights pre-programmed on a threshhold within ECU done on a calculation. The standard ride height can be reset - if you ask the dealers they can reset it for you. They have a special tool that measures from the lower suspension bush bolt to the floor and you enter the 4 corner measurements into the laptop screen and it re-calibrates through the RHCM - Ride Height Control Module.

You can then drive it around for 20 mins to level it out - and park it on level ground - and then go again by measuring between ground and wheel arch - decide where you would like it - measure agian with the LR tool between ground and suspension bush - and this time tweak the measurements you enter into IDS screen and get it where you want it witin 5 - 10mm or so. Thumbs Up You don't stop playing because you get old, You get old because you stop playing.
