as Endjin says, it's likely to be one of the three - just remember, DON'T pressure wash them - they get destroyed.

Gud ol soap and water Thumbs Up

Mine started yesterday doing the same after standing out overnight in the snow - normally in the garage and never a problem.

Maybe there's some ice inside the sensor? Try warming them gently with a hairdryer to see if that solves the problem. Maybe you wash them, but if the ice is deeper inside (in that recess) then it will still keep sounding.

Worth a try.

If it works, then maybe once it's dry it shouldn't ice up again for a while.

Thumbs Up

No need to switch them off, although I would be very tempted to if they were screaming all the time, but for off road use you can silence them and get a red light on the switch when you get too close to objects 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I get this on my D3 in very cold weather (well below zero C). It stops when the outside temperature rises. Every silver lining has a cloud

Mine started for the first time yesterday, but it was minus 28 and I had just washed it 10 mins before (indoors and leathered it) - so therefore I conclude it is linked to icing up.

I will try the hairdryer trick tomorrow.

One thing I think is that with the temp here being so low then it never gets wet and therefore never freezes (like the locks don't) - Maybe in the UK it gets wet in the day and freezes at night as the temp is more plus / minus / plus / minus.

Just a thought. Those who don't suffer it must be lucky that the water has evaporated before the deep freeze sets in. Will be interested to hear the dealer findings.

I had mine parked in a heated garage at work today and it didn't solve my problem..

I think I may have a faulty one rather than a frozen one, I'll find out tomorrow when it's plugged in Thumbs Up Cheers Paul
