1st couple of times yes that was the did the trick, but was out today, pushing quite hard on the country B roads, it came on again. When I start it up again and begin to move off it comes on again.
I was also told to switch the ignition on and off 3 time in a row and that should clear any fault codes held in the computer, have yet to try this 2010 Alaska white 3.6TDi v8, heated steering wheel, Ipod connection, Aribica extended leather, Digital TV, voice activation, privacy glass, Dynamic pack

Switch your SatNav screen to the offroad mode and look to see if all the sensors are showing as working, I suspect you may have a ride height sensor failure. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

This was my failure last Sunday, orange light then red then the car started to magic carpet, like an old American car... got out and all four corners were way down - looked like lower than access mode.

Restarted car, tried a few selections on height and had a mix of responses, from correct at one time to access on the front and off road at the back Confused

With my fault it said suspension fault and something about max speed 30mph (but was not restricted to that)... got home and the front was at normal IIRC but the rear Shocked higher than off road - MASSIVE gap at the wheel arch....

LRA called out and found a height sensor playing up (NSR) - known fault Rolling Eyes Shocked , water ingress. The Tech showed my the old one, bad connection and a 'green' pin causing the problem. Fitted new one on the drive at home. Thumbs Up

Just been out to try, had the nav screen showing 4x4 info, warning came back but nothing out of the ordinary on the screen, the car still seems to handle OK and corners as usual even though the fault indicates excessive lean while cornering.
MAW, it has been raining rather a lot here in Aberdeen for the last couple of days and did go through some large puddles, but you would yhink that a car such as the RR that has built it's reputation from off road would be ablt to handle puddles on the road. 2010 Alaska white 3.6TDi v8, heated steering wheel, Ipod connection, Aribica extended leather, Digital TV, voice activation, privacy glass, Dynamic pack

When mine happened i had just been playing Embarassed in some large puddles .... 20 secs later ..... amber light Laughing

You would think a puddle shouldn't upset such a vehicle wouldn't you - the tech said common fault known about and we had a chat about the fact that 5 years in they should have designed it out Whistle

It'll be the same thng IWE...

I have a pic of the car in dragster mode i'll have to upload sometime Laughing

Oh BTW my 4x4 screen wasn't showing anything either - the tech showed the the sensors output on his laptop - fluctuating around 1.8/1.92v IIRC whilst all others were steady

Not yet becaus it still drives Ok and other than the orange light shining at me there seems to be no difference.
If it goes mad and starts playing up like what happened to MAW then they will be getting a call.

Alslo what is teh deal with LRA?? my car is only 18months old 2010 Alaska white 3.6TDi v8, heated steering wheel, Ipod connection, Aribica extended leather, Digital TV, voice activation, privacy glass, Dynamic pack

I'd be tempted to get them out before it plays up, call them now if at home then there is no inconvenience, last thing you want is my magic carpet ride when you need to be somewhere.

Maybe you think the suspensions erratic with its settings as well as the warning light Wink Whistle

If still a problem tomorrow might do just that.
Also do you know where the computer access point in the car is, where the tech would hook up his laptop, I have one of those VI monitors so might just hook it up ands see what it has to say about the error code, 2010 Alaska white 3.6TDi v8, heated steering wheel, Ipod connection, Aribica extended leather, Digital TV, voice activation, privacy glass, Dynamic pack

IIRC it is on the underside of the steering column, seem to remember the LRA man having to get into the driver's footwell when I had to call them out for my last RRS continually going into limp-home mode. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
