You should get at least a 57 plate TDV8 for that sort of money.... much better than a TDV6 in my book. I love my TDV8 and would not swap it for another engine type.

Thanks Am i right in thinking that the TDV8 offers about the same fuel consumption as the 6 - but is much more lively? Only car i've seen at the moment is 2007 (07) TDV8 Link here: http://www.usedvehicles.landrover.co.uk/de...roups=8524 Is this a fair price - or could i get a better car for less? Also - what options are desirable? One definite is privacy glass and 20" rims. |

I think the TDV8 is a little more thirsty but lots more powerful.

8 all the way. If you are going to test drive them both, make sure you drive the 6 first otherwise you'll get out of the 8 and into the 6 and think that something is broken or wrong with it. They seriously are like chalk & cheese in the way they drive and the 8 is worth the premium if only for the engine sound and the smile it gives you when overtaking anything/everything. 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey with Alpaca premium leather, Adaptive cruise, Adaptive Bi-xenons, sunroof, Premium Nav, Premium ICE Logic 7, telephone, active locking rear diff, console coolbox, seat memory, powerfold mirrors, tow pack, window tint, dual battery, engel fridge, Goodyear Mud-Terrain tyres. |
