Any advise how to remove,???? had a road side repair guy have a go and he said it was to big for the reverse thread wheel nut remover he had, So is there a tool I can buy to get it off or is there some other way????? Or will I have to take it to the L R dealers

Have you tried using an impact driver? Definitely worth a go as I have had similar issues in the past and it the only thing that will work! Just ensure the alloy key is in the right place before you strick the driver!

Sounds like a good simple Idea that may even work!! I need to push as well as turn the wheel nut, an Impact driver may just work coz I would be able to do this and the vibration may well undo it. Thanks for the advice DASHAERDABLO1 Will try before I take to L.R.......K11ngc Stephen Hughes |

Well went to a local garage and used their impact driver, and ....... it didnt work unfortunatly. just spun round! So it's booked in at local Garage, they are going to drill the cap off and then weld a nut to it through a tube or something? Will keep you all informed of progress and cost.
