The two weights are there to stop brake resonance on the Brembos. They fit inside a standard LR 19" wheel as long at the balance weights are the stick on type.

No, problem. You might get some brake noise though. There are many 19" rims which fit without any modification - including all the LR ones. |

Ciao Norberto, il rumore "metallico" del sistema Hill Descent Control / HDC (innescato con il bottone giallo) e' sicuramente non piacevole ma perfettamente normale, generato dall'uso molto aggressivo dell'antilock e marce basse per mantenere il controllo del veicolo e una velocita' bassissima durante discese molto scoscese. Il rumore lo fanno sia i freni normali che i Brembo, i blocchi di metallo anti-risonanza montati dietro alle pinze non fanno alcuna differenza. Per evitare di danneggiare freni e trasmissione, non usare mai il sistema HDC, eccetto in caso di discese ripide e sducciolose dove rischieresti di perdere aderenza usando solo marce basse e freni in modo normale - HDC e' utile soprattutto fuoristrada, cosi ti concentri solo sulla guida e lasci che la macchina freni per te... Non toccare l'accelleratore durante l'uso dell' HDC, altrimenti il sistema si disinnesca automaticamente e quando molli l'accelleratore e l'HDC si innesca di nuovo rischi di picchiare il naso contro il volante! |
