OK that solves that mystery - thanks guys. It's just that the 2010 pricelist makes it appear that there is no FBH on 2010 cars if you are speccing the Park Heat option. Does anybody who has Park Heat care to take a look and see if their car has 2 FBH's, one for emissions reduction in cold weather and one for the Park Heat system? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

cheers for the info. I was asked the other day if the FBH could be fitted to an S/C, my reply was I doubted it very much - would require a second fuel tank for a start! But I wouldn't want what is in effect a contained fire, burning under the bonnet of a petrol engine! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Well Endjin, jat least we know there is at least one FBH under the bonnet............. I wemt down this route with my first RRS, there wasn't even ONE FBH there when there should have been! It became a retro fit, but only if you knew about it and complained to the dealer about how cold the car became in winter. There must still be a few 2005 cars out there without them because the owners were not aware that there should have been one from day one! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Yes for all UK spec cars as it forms part of the cold weather emissions reduction kit. Both TDv6 and TDv8 have it, Supercharged do not 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Is there an upgrade to the FBH available or is it standard with the remote function? The mrs was very keen on this as an option. |

At least for my 07 there wasn't an option from LR available, it would only function to hear the coolant. There are possibilities to add a remote, as that will at least give you the ability to heat the car before you use it. It also seems that Webasto (the maker of the fbh), has a module where it can also control your blowers in the car, and making it thus a normal Park heater (only for pre my10 so far). Will get this one in a week or 2, when it will be warm again RRS SDV6 HEV Dynamic
