New member looking to purchase a RRS HSE and a bit confused. Looked at on that stated bluetooth compatibility and when me and the salesman went to the car - no bluetooth.

All RRS's with PTI are bluetooth enabled. A simple check is to see if the steering wheel has green and red phone phone buttons on it. If it has then you are BT enabled. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

When I replied to this post I was under the impression that you were looking at a pre 2010 MY RRS. I don't think LR offer a wire telephone connection anymore so if your order states PTI it will have BT. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Just looked at the LR website and BT is standard on all UK models. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

PTI was only standard on the SC back in 2005 - mine was a 55 plate HSE and it was an option on mine. I think as Parkers states, it became default on the HSE for MY07 (i.e. Sep 06 builds and on).

Wasn't there also a BT module that you could have as a dealer fit kit that didn't have the steering column buttons. I seem to recall somebody last year buying one from an ebay store and then couldn't get all the functions that he thought he should be able to get on the factory fitted PTI. Basically what he got was a hands free answering device like a very basic Parrrott. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
