Air Suspension Noise

This morning when I raised the suspension from access to 'normal' ride height as well as the car rising there was a 'motorised noise' from the near-side rear wheel area which continued when the correct height was reached. It stopped when I lowered back to access height as the air is being bled from the system. Raising the car again the noise returned. By the time I had driven 300 metres the noise had stopped.

It was -9 deg. overnight and my guess is that either a seal was suffering or some water had got in somewhere and frozen opening a seal slightly. The noise I assume was just the compressor trying to maintain pressure.

Anyone else experienced this or have some advice. Thanks in advance.

think you are right...Sounds like the air compressor just working to pressurise the system. Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

Yep had this noise after I jacked the car up on the wrong point (it was deep snow and I was doing it by feel Embarassed ) and bent the mounting bracket for the compressor, it finaly broke off last month and I had to get it replaced just before coming over to the UK, it cost me €500 to get a replacement Big Cry Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh
