SUPPLEMENTARY FUSE BOX NOT IN LUGGAGE/BOOT AREA???

hello, need help guys......

number plate bulb went on my 2005 sport, went to change it and shorted it out by accident.

now i have no number plate lights or a rear left hand side light.

this matches up with the manual saying FUSE NUMBER 6 has gone and they short out together

but cant find the supplementary fuse box at all.... looked in all boot compartment

i do have aftermarket dvd screen's so unless they moved it to somwhere else?

anyone she any light on this... very much appreciated

Are you sure the fuse you want isn't in the fusebox fwd of the glovebox? Supplementary one (rear l/h side) I thought, was only fitted if you have the towing electrics fitted. RRS TDV8 Buck Blue (no, not now in my dreams). ..........D3 TDclankety clankV6 ............BMW 318i

Ambrez, open the glove box fully to expose the fusebox, there is a guide there as to what the fuses are for, I think it'll be there somewhere, not at the back of the car. RRS TDV8 Buck Blue (no, not now in my dreams). ..........D3 TDclankety clankV6 ............BMW 318i

Also directly there in the glovebox is the guide for which fuse operates which item.

Just be careful not to break your glovebox trying to lower it...squeeze the two items gently and lower the box.

Putting back up is cinch, just push up and the box snaps back into place. PJPR

Hi all, I am having the same problem, the owners manual I have says to look for the fuse in the boot area, and the list of fuses in the glove box does not state a fuse for the licenses plate light. HELP PLEASE ! Shocked Shocked Shocked Beautiful Today was the Tommorow you worried about Yesterday
