Suspension settling when engine turned off

Hi all

My 2007 RRS makes the "normal" air noise shortly after the engine is switched off. However, I have started to notice that the front drops a bit when this happens.

Is this normal ?

Thanks

Very normal. Often see this when sitting in the car after switching it off. 2010 Sport Supercharged with all options apart from TV and Extended leather (wish I had the latter) (Previously 2007 RRS S/C)

Mine has done it since new however I think the whole car settles, not just the front.

I think it is the car going into standby mode which relieves the compressor and air suspension parts of their workload when the car is at rest and locked up.

Although based on my track record, I will no doubt be proven wrong and duly corrected and chastised! Laughing Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Normal behaviour if you leave it in normal height when leaving the vehicle.....but word of caution if you are away for a long time eventually the compressor will run out of air which may leave it looking like a sunk ship.

My advice is unless you are going to be only a few minutes is to put it into access mode so that the computor is turned off, thus saving the battery as well and the car is then not constantly trying to keep itself level. TDV6 - gone
