2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

detachable towbar

hi all

bit naive here

will a new detachable towbar (hook) fit my 09 rrs, are the towbar serial numbers crucial ........i see people asking for the numbers from the sellers......... Stay above ground at all costs

Yes mate you can get a towbar from as old as an 05 RRS to fit, further more the D3 one fits so look around on ebay for a good deal.
Don't pay more than £150 for a new one, I have seen used ones (perfectly good too) go for less than £100 if you look about.

Have seen a few on ebay and they are far better priced than the commercial towbar guys

You must have read my mind as i was about to offer a guy 150 for one

I believe there was a SB about some towbars serial numbers having some sort of a problem.
