EPB Manual Release

My EPB (Electric Park Brake) seems to be stuck on with the usual neighbor attracting screeching. Tried various up down movements the switch etc and it isn't budging just making noise. I know there is a manual emergency release on the D3, but I can't locate anything about one on the RRS forum.

Have removed the cap in the cup holder and had a good look, nothing, likewise the plate in front of the EPB release and nothing there either.

Can anyone help as I am supposed to be doing 300 miles tomorrow, and wont be going anywhere at this rate !

Have you had a look with a torch to spot the release cable under the cup holder flap, it can be pushed back a way out of sight.

OK, here's where it is :

Removed the plastic bit between the EPB switch and gear selector. Undid the two screws to remove the EPB switch and hey presto, the manual emergency release was below. Used a bungee cord to pull it and the brake has now disengaged.

Posted a couple of pics to help.

Cheers for all that helped.
