Very Litte Power but no warning lights

Had a go in my MRS RRS today ,noticed that it had almost no power lots of lag and really struggled going up hills ,I took it to a non dealer landrover diagnostics guy today and he could not find antthing advised me to check if the diesel filter had been changed recently ,which it had 2 months ago .

Agreed.... really best taking it into a LR dealer for the full diagnosis. Very likely EGR valve as mentioned above.

It's always the EGR valves. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve (EGR). Installed by Land Rover to keep endless stream of vehicles breaking down and needing parts/labour Whistle

PEDRO PETE have a look on m web site, i have a blanking kit available.

A lot cheaper to buy and fit than a pair of valves.

Unfortunately, most modern dealerships employ 'technicians' and not 'mechanics'.

In my laymans interpretation, this merely means that they (said technicians) only know how to plug in a computer to trap the error codes, and then they merely replace the broken 'sealed part' that the computer instructs them to with a brand new 'sealed part'. This includes the engine itself which these days are 'sealed' and run in on test beds before a consumer gets them!

No offence meant to any 'technicians' on the site by my generalisation, but I myself have been told that "there were no errors recorded" when previously reporting a suspension fault that several people saw and pointed out to me.
