Agreed.... really best taking it into a LR dealer for the full diagnosis. Very likely EGR valve as mentioned above.

Yup had a dealer mechanic I know have a look today ,seems to be an EGR valve whatever that is.Hes gonna book it in for me . |

Update to the problem ,the cars been in the main local dealers since monday ,I asked what the problem was and they still dont know ,I find this incredible its a bloody car not a spaceship ,today I was advised it might be the turbo we have had no fault codes ,have to say I aint impressed and will be changing it on its return.... |

Sucess at last and surprise surprise ,it was an EGR valve all along .....still the dealer gave me a good deal !!!! |
