There were updated Anti Roll Bar bushes released which reduced the knocking sound considerably but the RRS is subject to the occasional light knock. Gone: RRS : HSE : TDv6 : 57 : Java Black : Ebony : 20" |

Yes if I fit a new rack. The knock is so slight on my car I've not replaced the rack yet.

Yep, it's the rack. I've had 4 sets of bushes replaced including the new style, twice. All to no avail. After the rack was replaced, going on 10,000km now, everything is perfect. Luckily this got fixed a month before the warranty expired. So, if you have the non-dynamic response knocking, the steering rack is your problem and solution. 2006 Black/Alpaca, Hi Ice, Dynamic Pack, 19" wheels, Clear Pack... |

I'll be happier when I can hear my whining over the noises the RRS "characteristically" makes!!! |

Is the new steering rack a different design, or the same as the original... i.e. is it likely to need replacing every time it wears out over anumber of years or km's!??? What kms did your problem first appear at enzo?? |

Interesting after 6 months of a continual clunk they changed the lower control arm bushes and ball joints, i had to wait for the new and improved design to be shipped from the UK. On severe bumps (your average Sydney road) i can still hear it... so do i need a second new steering rack Another Pommie Bar Steward down under
