2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Never mind, got the weedy 19" HSE standard wheels on at the moment and need to change.

Seen some new 22" Replica overfinch S7 wheels with tyres for £995, what do people think? will they upset the ride and push my insurance up

22" wheels will definitely ruin the ride. Even moving to my 20" wheels made a huge difference so i can only imagine 22" to be worse.

I would offer a word of caution around buying replica's. I looked into this when buying my wheels but apparently if anything goes wrong with the car or you are involved in an accident it can invalidate both your warranty and your insurance. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Looks vs comfort is always a debate.

Good point about the warranty and also whether the 22's would cause suspension problems in the future. Gone: RRS : HSE : TDv6 : 57 : Java Black : Ebony : 20"

Well i've got them back - they look stunning!

But, with the recent weather i've decided to keep them in the garage and put them on in April/May. The SC's will now be my winter wheels... lol sounds mad I know WINNER - 2009 Best in Class Range Rover Sport Award

Hi Folks

please help where do, or how do, I get my rear light lens tinted just on the clear bits ,
just bought it and want to do lots of bits to it, what are 22" stormers like to drive with ?
some are spooking me saying you will regret it, bumpy ride and all that?
please advise

Adam,

just read through the whole 10 pages, and in my humble opinion, you've got the perfect looking RRSport - exactly how i want my MY2010 to look.

black, lowered, colour coded (need to see about the 2010headlights) side steps, add in the revere (or revere type for me) exhausts, privacy glass all round, with possibly these 20" wheels, and 22" kahn or something 5 spoke for the summer

and i love the lowered module - wonder can it be done to 2010 models?

does it mean your car drives on the access setting the whole time? what is the height difference between access and normal, and finally, can you adjust yours to go to the 'normal' height and off road mode still?

thanks again, and congrats on a beautiful motor.... hope mine can look nearly as good.

Ross

hey Ross,

You just caught me online!! Thank you for your kind words, I didnt realise my car had a following! lol

I didnt have a lowering module, I had the car height electronically limited. You can actually specify where you want the car to sit while they do it. You can lower up to 30mm.

This has no effect on the rest of your suspension settings, it all works as normal. Access mode remains the same.

My ride is perfect\and very stable (esp on motorways!), i barely felt a difference in comfort. People still comment on what a great ride the car gives!

I love those wheels you have listed, I noticed on ebay theyre now doing them in 22" WINNER - 2009 Best in Class Range Rover Sport Award
