Would it not have been more cost effective to start with a HSE?

I have to agree with JF, i think it might have been a better idea to buy an HSE in the first place

even though you have it badged as a HSE, its always going to an S with extras

I wonder if a HSE of simlar age would have held its money better than a highly modified S, and comparing with what you spent on it, to what you will get for it

I suppose its a test to see if dealers are correct when they say, spec'ing up a car will lose money as they are not taken in to account when valueing it at trade in time.

Though if you do sell it its a nice looking example Thumbs Up

Also is there a trim piece missing above the sidesteps Question

Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Well i work on Tower Cranes all over the country as a spark n just thought that i had to get the Famous Finnieston crane in on the river clyde Thumbs Up

The reason i didnt buy the HSE model to start was this was £3k cheaper and my insurance was only £720, £1600 for HSE! because im just a baby (23 last year) lol i get my arse felt a bit more for having such a big car, and the recession was just starting to bite i kinda wanted to keep a decent budget! Embarassed

Thanks for all the comments guys, Bow down Thumbs Up

£720 even with all the mods is quite good for your age

Nice but it's let down by the non-factory tints. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

yeah it was good, this year it went up 200 odd and thats me with 6 years no claims now, got sorted with Tesco tho for £501,

turn 25 in september so hopefully my insurance jumps down a bit, thats why im thinking m3 or m5 for some fun for a year or 2! then maybe swap back for a decent purple RRS like purple people eaters Thumbs Up
