If you pay a lump sum instead, is the agreement transferable to another owner?

Yes, you can transfer it to another owner so it's an incentive when the car is sold. The price is fixed at todays charge so it protects you in the event of a service cost increase. My initial thought was to just stick with the LR extended warranty when my 3yr warranty expires but this has got me thinking.

Good idea but It would depend on what the service plan includes.

The service plan just fixes the servicing costs at current prices with a discount to committing over 2/3yrs.

I'm afraid so. I've had it on the last 3 cars as I've used the same finance company each time. TDV6 - gone TDV8 - gone Audi Q5 3.0 Tdi Sline wef 6/11/10 |

I assume that this is based upon a certain annual mileage - can you clarify how you have worked out the savings? |
