Welcome - tough one this. The new RRS is a great upgrade but at £18k more I really don't know what I would do. If you can afford it go for the new model if money is tight go for the MY2009. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

How quickly do you want a TDv8?

Indeed, tough one. I think £18k is probably too much but if the difference was £12k I could probably justify it (if only for the new dashboard which looks amazing). I was thinking residuals too but I don't see the MY2010 being worth significantly more in 3 years time. Choices, choices! |

Obviously quicker is better but I can wait! I should also add I'm looking for a LHD version which will no doubt complicate matters furthers (not even sure if you can order a new LHD from LR UK). |

18k is a big difference. I'd go for the MY2009. Gone: RRS : HSE : TDv6 : 57 : Java Black : Ebony : 20" |

MY10 every single time................I drove the TTDV6 and it is amazing (for a diesel) and as far as I am aware, only about 0.4 seconds slower, but with far better fuel economy than the TDV8.

For the here and now, it's got to be a MY10 really. Really nothing wrong with the 09 at all, but if it was me, I think I'd be forever regretting that my car was out of date before I even took delivery of it

I think the cash is going to win! I missed on a new LHD Full Fat Vogue TDV8 at £45k so somewhat bitter now when it comes to spending money! |

Cash always wins the argument, but in time you will probably regret it. If you do go for the 2009MY then don't go anywhere a 2010MY, curiosity and cats etc.
