Very much alive and working from Park Royal! Our 5.0 SC RRS has been delayed (Alaska incidentaly), however we have a FFRR SC if you want to have a drive to get an idea? I'll be off site tomorrow but feel free to call my ankerman Matthew Gurney on 0208 992 2299 who will gladly book a time for you to come down. In my opinion the new engine is at least 35% better in all respects. James |

I agree about the white - am looking to purchase a white one, and CHPR are assisting me, but yes the white isn't a bright white white.....more cream.....but still good....colour coding is needed, just need to be careful what bits to do and not to do, as i don't want it looking like an ambulance.... |

You can have whatever colour you like via Special Vehicles. Last one we did was a while back and was just over £12,000. A small price to pay for your preferred shade. James |

I think you could be wrong there, I happen to know that Mercedes employees may in most classes not order white cars as company cars anymore because they think they will not be able to sell white cars in one or two years. Right now it still sells great but maybe that "hype" is over before the development cost of a new colour can be earned by selling it. Nevertheless I would also have it in white, it looks great in white. James's offer sounds good to me (although very expensive, it costs less than half of that to do it at Mercedes, Audi, BMW or Porsche where they can paint your car in the colour of the wifeys lipstick - which unfortunately happens more often than you would expect ) and since it will be the only "proper white" RRS SC you will surely one day be able to sell it very fast, easy, and expensive. If you want to go a cheaper way because you don't want to keep it for long (but why would you? ): You could order the standard beige-white one and then do something like this: http://diefolierer.de (Sorry, didn't find an English page about it, but I think it is quite understandable.) I've seen it a couple of times and if the foil colour is similar to the original colour you won't recognize it to be a foil at all and the best thing: You can take it away before selling and have an original painted car which looks like new! edit: I don't know the named company neither have I ever seen work of this specific company. It was just an example of one of these companies and I found it via google, so it's no suggestion or anything like that. Just saw a new police car colour this morning............................. BMW 3 series in BMW's equivalent of Nara Bronze, didn't look right with Battenburg retrotape down the sides and the light bar on the roof. Central Region Police seem to buy their patrol cars in any colour these days - they are even returning to black cars! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
