Significant for LR because according to Autocar today that day could be the date that LRX,in production form might be unveiled to the public. Significance? Well apparently the original RR was unveiled on that date in 1970 so it will be RR's 40th birthday! It also states that the final version "will differ from the concept" Oh well I was hoping it would stay very close to the concept as to me the 3 door LRX looks fantastic and would suit me to a T as my next car........................ if NFRR (No Fat Range Rover ) isn't going to look like the LRX I might as well buy a Honda CRV instead. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Maybe it could be called, LFRR.co.uk, as in Low Fat Range Rover.co.uk |

Am I the only one who finds the LRX test mule pictured at the 'ring a bit... underwhelming to look at? Hopefully it's just a very early mule. So far it looks like a Freelander Light and those tiny brakes don't seem to scream performance.

Does look a bit poor, but I suppose this is being used as a mule for something internal - there's no camouflage or anything to try and hide any externals.
