I've never had my seat move back, and the mirrors sometimes refuse to return the the standard 'up' position after they have tilted 'down' to reverse.

I have the same issues with the mirrors not returning, This only happens occasionally. If lazy entry is related to the seat position with diffrent keys how do you program the seat position to the key? |

Go through the process with your chosen key in the ignition... the settings get written to it, so that when you insert the key next time it reads and sets them. It's all fairly pointless if you're the only one who ever drives it.

it applies the settings when you use the unlock button. The wife has one setting and I another just got to remember not to pick up the wrong key.

AFAIK that's not part of Lazy Entry. I think the seat slides back and the steering column lifts up and away from you when you remove the key from the ignition only if you have the electrically adjustable steering column and flip that switch to Auto. The memory mirrors can be trouble if you have a 2006/7 and have Lazy Entry enabled. A bunch of memory modules were defective and caused the mirrors to go nuts, there was a TSB issued last year or so. I just turned Lazy Entry off, like others have said it is a useless feature if you are the only driver and/or only use one key to open the car. |
