22" Stormers... Photos with 285 and 295 tyres please...

Hello Guys,

New to the RRSport group, recently got an 06 RR Sport TDV6 HSE.

Definately want stormer wheels for it, and definately want 22" wheels... but... dunno if I should go for 295/30 or 285/35 tyres....

Want it to look like this one :- http://wheelsworldwide.co.uk/img/gallery/1660-l.jpg which in my opinion looks SUPERB Thumbs Up

But others ive seen sometimes look like the tyres are too fat for the wheels...

So, question is, have you got a photo of your 22" Stormers, with 295/30 and someone else with 285/35 tyres OR can you guess what tyres is on that blue one on the photo above

Alex.

To be honest 22" rims will ruin your ride and they handle terribly with them. I had 22" rims and they were binned for 20's If you live and do all your driving around town then fine and the 35 profile will save them a bit from constant buckling but if u are on uneven roads with a few bumps then reconsider... But if u want then I would go 385/35 personally for the bigger side wall. Can u get 295/35 profiles?

Hi Guys,

Due to the lack of response, I went with my own judgement and went for the 22"'s anyway with 295/30/22 tyres and I think they look rather spot on...

Drive isnt really affected much to be honest, more than makes up for it with the looks...

SO, here are some photos for people looking for photos of 22" Stormers , as I couldnt find any on here.
I also fitted a set of mudflaps to complete the look.. Thumbs Up

They look the goods i haven't noticed any major drive probs either i went 285 so the rim stands out more

For the most part I think the Arden stuff looks good - but that's pretty low to the ground, you'd have to be careful over speed bumps/old ladies etc.

there are several companies in Ireland offering the Arden kit as a replica they are good quality. i'll see if I can dig one out. I know they sell on ebay for about £1000 for the whole kit.

You can get them from Porsche and Mercedes dealers as they both fit them to certain models in their ranges. Will be cheaper than buying a whole front bumper from Arden just to get LEDs under the bumper! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I quite like the Leds down there. They would be a lot easier to change the bulbs on when they go kaput as opposed to trying to change them in the headlight units. TDV6 - gone
