Nice idea. It looks like the red and blue LED from the police car. Wink
Is that legal in Switzerland? Wink
How bright are these LEDs?

Yes, I think they look good, and when off(keys out) they are almost invisible, they sit about 7 cm behind the grill

They are not too bright to disturb oncoming traffic at night but bright enough to be noticed during the day, I can see people looking at them.

Legal in CH? Not sure, but I know that Jumbo supermarkets sell something similar and they say they are legal, it may also depend on the position they are mounted. I don't think police will bother me about them. '08 RRS TDV8

I'm looking to get some DRL as well, how did you connect them up?
Is it an easy 'self fit' job??

Cheers

Thumbs Up I keep telling myself 'It's a toy'
But I've broken quite a lot of toys in my time.....

Hi Merwiz,
yes easy after a bit of exploration, is not as easy as used to be in older cars.
The main problem is that is a bit difficult to find where to wire them, there is no power source or ground in the front of the car, after a bit of search I ended up wiring this way.
Got ground from a bolt next to the FBH where there are already a couple of wires, run a wire from the bolt to the front of the car and then set up a common ground point there that I could use for various equipments.
Got switched power from the fuse box next to the battery, plugged into an empty relay plug.

Got the lights from Maplins, in London, about 15 GBP, if I remember correctly.

I used new ground point to install a Stebel air horn, wiring the relay with, 15 from the battery and 55 from the car right horn. '08 RRS TDV8
