I can't wait to pick it up tomorrow. I found out it does have sirius, and dealer claims that The Ipod connector kit is not available. They had a few issues. So I ordered one on amazon that uses the bottom to plug in not the headphone jack so it supposed 2 sound better plus it charges it, hope it looks ok. How is the stereo anyway?

I have a car-charge-wire for iphone and a simple aux-in-wire in the aux-in. It cost about 5 Euros and works brilliantly! Cool
The only disturbing thing is that the ipods and iphones don't have enough power on the audio-out, so you will have to turn the radio quite loud to listen to ipod which will lead to a very loud navigation-voice! Rolling Eyes Laughing

As for the quiestion about the stereo: I always thought it was quite bad concerning the sound quality until I found out it acutally sounds good when you put it loud! For any reason the sound is not really good when listening to it "normally" so just put your stereo louder and it will sound fine! Very Happy
(Which is also a great excuse when you don't want to talk to your wife, just tune up the stereo and tell her it is necessary for good sound! Thumbs Up Mr. Green )

Besides that, you will love the RRS! Very Happy Have fun with it and as Angel said: Get some Stormer-Wheels to make its looks perfect! Thumbs Up RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration Wink

It's a shame Belkin stopped making the preamped power source with volume control to boost the volume to normal levels for the ipod. I've got one. Plugs in the power source at back of the arm rest with a lead which plugs into the ipod. Then a 3.5mm male to male lead from the Belkin to the aux in port.

Really good quality sound. But they stopped making them.

But might be worth having a look at Belkin or the Apple web site for options. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

They stopped making them? That's a shame, they were a decent bit of kit.

I ordered a griffen Ipod stand/charger/aux out thing. It plugs in from under the ipod which is supposed to sound MUCH better than using the headphone plug and it also charges the ipod too.. So I'll let u know how it sounds when it comes in. There was the step up model that had a remote that u velcro to your steering wheel which now I'm thinking I should have gotten but I think I ended up getting it on amazon.com for only like $10 w/s&h where as the remote one was like $30.00 I figured that the ipod is close enough I can just do it myself..

OK more importantly I have a few questions about my "new to me" Range..

First the phone. It is only showing me 1 number for each person.. ex: say I have John P's home/work/cell number all listed on my cell, I'm only seeing the first number is there a way to scroll or something???

Also I don't know the exact name of this but in the nav. setting what is the first setting at the voice setting used for? Sorry I don't remember the setting right now but the second button to the right is to change the voice but the first setting Voice Name setting (or something like that) I looked in both the car book and the nav book and in the nav book it shows the setting but doesn't say what it is for???

I'm sure I'll have 10000 more questions but hopefully next time I will explain alot better Smile

PS
anyone know where I can get the sill treadplates for short money? I saw some on ebay but they aren't the real ones and they are sand blasted "range rover" but don't look as nice as the EBN500040 one's in the catalog.

Yes, this is a limitation of the system. I think the other entries become available if your phone has a "remote sim" mode Confused
