Range Rover Sport *STEREO PROBLEM*?

Range rover sport hse, 2.7 diesel (2006), has a problem with its stereo. i turn up the volume and a few minutes later it drops the sound level and says low power mode. it stays like that until the engine is turned off. any 1 have a clue y it does this?

Australia 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Fuji White

Whilst i do not get the lower power message, mine has been doing exactly the same, it has had a new battery, a new radio, and the latest thought pattern is maybe it has a misrouted cable loom in the cabin under the front seats that may be crushed, i believe it was a manufacturing issue. Will keep you posted on the cable loom front, it is in next monday for 2/3 days to see if that is the issue, it requires a front of cabin strip down.

Cheers
