I have the RRS TDV8. I have discovered that the anti-roll bar active control module is leaking oil. Is anyone familiar with this problem? Is it common? Is it serious? I want to go greenlaning next week. Should I postpone the trip until the leak is repaired? As the vehicle is less than 2 years old would this be a warranty repair?

It might be the rear stabilizer bar actuator then. Malaysia Boleh!

If you mean the big lump in the centre of the roll bar at the rear (and at the front) then yes I had mine leak. New seals fitted first but it still leaked, so new unit fitted. All covered by 3 year warranty. If the oil in the DR reservoir has not dropped much it will be OK to use on the road. It should make no difference when off roading. Gone - 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey, ebony, zabrano trim, TV, Tasmods, mudflaps. |
