United Kingdom

When sat nav 'speaks' use the volume button on radio/steering wheel to lower volume. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Sadly Land Rover in their ultimate wisdom seem to think that if you are enjoying your Herb Albert collection at full volume, you want the trained chimp from the local radio station to interrupt you with useless information from the other end of the county at a similar volume, plus 1. Likewise shouty satnav lady.

Hmmm, that's got me thinking. If I've got Info Vol set to +1 and already have the system at max volume, will the resulting output rival North Korea's new toy as a WMD? Two lives - lived one

Italy 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

I am not vey familiar with the system, since I only have the car since last month (and most of all, I am swapping the original radio with an aftermarket unit.

However, as far as I remember, in my long journey from the place where I bought the car to my house (some 1050 kms), I had some troubles with this annoying lady shouting at me. Eventually I ended up findind some way via touch scree to have the instructions only on the screen, without voice infos.
Am I wrong?
Was it only a mid-spring dream?

Mine is a 2700 TDV6 year 2006, HSE.

Hope this helps.

You can have the radio and nav voice at differential volumes. Next time the sat nav shouts at you when your radio/cd volume is up high, press the right hand hard button below the nav screen and use the steering wheel volume to lower the volume of the voice, the radio/cd remains the same Thumbs Up Chawton White TDV6 HSE with Alpaca and Rodium, Automatic Climate Control,
