I suppose that you have a different interpretation in British english for "you are my man" than in american english.

The correct modern expression in American English is "you are THE man" - the above expression could easily be misinterpreted unintentionally... If you are speaking with someone, and you use a shortened version, i.e. "my man" with the appropriate inflection, that's OK...it means, my friend or buddy etc....but in written form, it does leave room for uncertainty. Back on track - nice RRS...time for some modifications! PJPR Cairns Blue HSE 180k Miles of Adventure |

Thanks for the tip. I stayed in US (CA) for 2 years for studies back in 1999 and yes you are right to write down the slang that you have used 10 years ago is not that easy. (on the other side I'm getting old which is not good for my memory) On the RRS subject I'm looking towards yours, Umberto or VA way for offorad mods, but first I need some time with it, to feel it and see the weakness (where the mods should be directed) 2009 Range Rover Sport 2.7 TDV6 SE, Alaska White, Almond leather, tinted windows, active rear diff, tow pack, HiICE, full spare: gone and already missed 2004 Fiat Panda 1.2 Climbing 4x4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAg4DdXAp7Y |
