United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Arctic Frost

I've had a set of Brembo calipers and tried to fit to mine TDV6 HSE but could NOT as the two bolts from the frame were different from the caliper (distance). Can someone tell me what modification I should do OR else??? Thanks.

Wrong calipers. There is no room for a mounting bracket between the strut and caliper (as with the non-Brembo calipers), so you have to get the right ones. Cheers

If you need definite confirmation, ring a dealer and get them to confirm. Then you can blame them if they give you incorrect info Wink

Mine has gone in for second service this morning (2years 20k)

Stealer just phoned told me I need new pads on the front.

I bet they have a load of wear left on them, get them on ebay or from LR dealer parts and change yourself or get a good independant, it will be a lot cheaper

I took mine in for a 3 year service and MOT a couple of weeks ago.
Got a phonecall from the Stealers;
"Your front pads need changing....they're 80% worn"
"That's funny" I said. "I checked them at the weekend and there was still 5.5mm left on them"
"Well, they're 80% worn, so they won't last until the next service"
"How thick are they when new?" I asked
"About 10mm" he said.
I wonder if he failed maths at school?

Oh, and when I got the car home, it dumped most of the windscreen fluid on the garage floor (cracked bottle). It took me half a day to replace it (on the upside, it was only £28 ). How the hell did they do that????

Mind you, that's nothing, on it's first service, the garage (different garage) managed to perforate one of the radiators, and had to replace 3 of the things before they stopped the leaks.
On the second service, got a call to say that one of the tyres had 3 punctures in it. Strange that, 'cos it had been sat in my garage for a few days, and it was fine when I set off, and the garage was only a couple of hundred yards down the main road! It might have had something to do with the back yard at the garage, which is covered in some sort of builders rubble!!!

Thinking about it, this all pales compared to An Audi TT I had a few years ago. 3 months old, it went into the Stealers for some minor job. They did so much damage to the car (on the ramps etc.) that they actually agreed to replace it with a brand new one!!

I wonder why I hate garages.............

Bob.

I rang Beadles in Sidcup and asked them, they said they could not provide any information. What can you do about it???
