Nope... it's radar, so you would have to use metal - and then it would probably bleep at you continuously and tell you to intervene or crash |

fyi, I didn't bend it - it was done by the previous owner (which was land rover actually) and obscuring the sensor will just give false alarms of objects/cars too close. Whatever happened made the sensor think there was nothing ahead all the time nomatter how close you are to the car in front. Thats what it was doing when I drove it. Quite agree - the parts diagram is misleading if you don't know where the radar sensor really is. Sometimes I wonder how the dealers' storekeepers ever find some of the parts we ask them for. |

Speed control ecu - I think it's in the LH footwell behind the trim. |
