Sunshine coast is nice, in particular Noosa, Gold Coast is a bit over developed for moi's taste, but far more livelier, so depends what you are after as they say

Neither, Not the best of circumstances to be going. Still waiting for a visa to be confirmed before i book the flight/hotel. Just wanted somewhere cheapish yet not hostel like near the brisbane hospital.
Think im going to go for portal hotel http://portalhotel.com.au/ but it is like 2/3km away. Just wanted to know how easy is it to get around? Taxi/bus?.
Im only going for 3/4 nights max.
