OK......after much searching I'm completely confused about chipping the v6.

Can anyone help out??

Is a plug in variety available (so it can be easily removed when car goes for servicing) or does the 'tin brain' need reprogramming via lap top and a brainiac.

Anyone comment on real world benefits?

Costs and recommendations?

Anyone know of a specialist in FNQ, around Cairns area.

PS - A little off topic, and excuse the ignorance, but wtf are tasmod sills! Less is more, more or less

I'm sure Pete at B.A.S could send you one of his units through the post, then you download the standard map and email him it, then he emails the remap back which you place on the hand held unit.

These download the remap, to the car, but also allow you to place the car back to standard map when visiting the dealers.
