is it true that cleaning my rrs with a sponge will make swirl mark's? |

Yes. Apparently sponges catch grit and dust keeping iton the surface and marking the paint. Best option is a lambswool wash mitt.

Or alternatively, do what I did and leave it get dirty. It's a Land Rover after all! Mind you, mine didn't ever get washed because I'm a lazy

What I don't understand is that you intend to clean your car yourself - surely you have staff to do these things. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Don't forget to use two buckets to ensure the grit that yoiu've taken off the car, is rinsed in one bucket before dipping the mitt into the shampoo bucket.
