EGR valve problems are all too common on the TDV6 , the dealer should be able to read the fault codes and replace the faulty valve, or both of them if necessary. Sorry, havent heard of the other faults though I'm afraid.Good Luck with those. RRS TDV8 Buck Blue (no, not now in my dreams). ..........D3 TDclankety clankV6 ............BMW 318i |

Similar issue to one i read about back in my bmw days. Have they replaced the g-sensor? (im not sure if this is the technical term ). Usually when these are faulty you get issues on long turns. It basically thinks it needs to slow you down because the sensor is fualty. It doesnt usually come up on diagnostics. I tried to look for the forum thread where someone had a similar issue but i couldnt find it. WINNER - 2008 Best All New Photograph WINNER - 2009 Best All New Photograph |

g-sensor? Well I know they replaced the ACE module some time ago. This week (I hope) they will replace the steering angle sensor. |

Yes, I think the yaw sensor is included in the ACE module that they replaced some time ago. |

There are two yaw rate sensors in a RRS - one in the roof and one in the transmission tunnel. IIRC the lower one is used for DSC and they are both used (for comparative rates) in the ARM system... If either are faulty it may be thinking you are about to tip over on bends and will cut the throttle and apply brakes to individual wheels if necessary to avoid a 'roll-over'. |

OK, thanks. I will discuss this with the garage tomorrow. I was not aware of the one in the roof. |
