what ever the reason/justification/policy stealers should distinguish between accident/repair/service customers and warranty work customers.. one lot are there by choice, the other lot aren't |

I agree 100% that there is no way on earth you should have to pay for a courtesy car when it is warranty work which is being carried out as it clearly is through no fault of your own. Then again, courtesy cars don't even exist here so stop moaning and count yourself lucky! If your tv breaks down would expect a replacement? Or your washing machine?

So if you had paid 120k for a Bentley and the dealer said ok, that'll be 100quid for a courtesy car you would find that acceptable?

Got to my dealer who had organized a loaner for me. On handing over the keys for a Freeloader wanted £23.00 for one days use. Didn't warn me beforehand.

It seems to be something that's happening more and more often... I've never been asked to pay for a courtesy car. Maybe if dealers are starting to charge for them, they shouldn't be called courtesy cars any more and the question should be "would you like to hire a car for the day?"

Over here they offered a push-bike and it wasn't even a Landrover one. Ah well, the hospitality area offered free wine and beer ... Didn't see any point in leaving the garage at that point Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh
