As far as I know SE and ST are commonly used acronyms for Sports Executive and Sports Tourer. Whether that applies to the RRS badging I have no idea. WINNER - 2009 Best Newcomer Award

Serious answer is that I doubt anyone at Land Rover could tell you to be honest... They are just letters used for many many years to distinguish one level of specification from another...

As far as the specification is conerned, HST is Top of the Range and is usually based on an HSE, but with a body-kit and a few other cosmetic enhancements (wheels, tailpipes, interior trim). There used to be HSE and HST versions of RRS, Freelander 2, and an HST Range Rover, but now it is RRS only.

Like said before the HST is the top of the range model.....the best of the best.....LOL

The main differences is the bodykit and wheels but it also gets a better back axel (don't know why its better) better stereo system, sunroof and some nice interior trim bits as standard.

The bodykit is a matter of taste (of lack of if some members would like you to believe) but there is no getting away from the fact its the top of the range model!

The back axle has the electronic rear differential on HST versions - this is optional on other models
