United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost
I need a new mobile.

My mobile phone contract is up for renewal again soon and I really haven't got a clue what phone to have next. There have been quite a few threads on here in the past about the merrits of different mobile phones and network providers, so I thought I would through the question out to forum members.

I've got a Nokia E65 with O2 at the moment. Nothing flash but a good reliable phone, it pairs with the car via bluetooth without any problems and has never let me down in any way shape or form.

There are so many different options out there I really don't know which way to turn. What options should I go for? GPS, Email, camera pixels, internet access, mp3 player . . . the list goes on and on. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

i have to same question to ponder too

I want to be connected to the Internet without worrying about huge monthly charges, would like gps, email & camera etc

My current SE K850 has a 5mb camera and i don't think the pics are anything to write home about.

Going to look at the n97, is there any good contracts to look at with unlimited web, 500mins 50 text that will work out similar to the iphone tariffs as they seem to suit me

If you want to stop with O2 then it has to be the Iphone, I would have had one but wanted to stop with Vodaphone so my best option was the Blackberry storm. I actually like this phone but would have picked the Iphone if it was available on a Vodaphone contract.

Daz,

You should have got an IPhone and unlocked it. I have mine on 3 and its perfect Thumbs Up

My O2 IPhone contract is still running (3 more months) but I use that in my Nokia 3209.......the battery goes on and on and on.

The downside to all these "we do everything" phones is battery and the IPhone is just as bad. The IPhone is only used between a select few of us on here (free calls) and the 3209 does most of the work for business and otherwise Thumbs Up L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

is the free calls via Skype on the iPhone, i think my brother used that on a free wifi connection whilst we was in france to call home

TBH I think i am going to go for the iPhone, but am going to wait to see if there is a newer version later in the year or at least see what the rumours are

rumours are about an iphone nano. Which id assume to be a lesser capable more slicker looking version of the 3g.

Ive had the 3g since november. Absolutely love the phone! WINNER - 2008 Best All New Photograph

N97 for me when it appears. Like the fact you can make the iPhone do cool stuff, but the camera's rubbish and I use that quite a lot.

It still does mate, but it's the lesser of various evils. Honestly, I just need a phone for making/receiving calls on and the camera is a useful feature for when I'm out and about, but as you can't seem to get a phone these days that doesn't also offer to repoint the front of your house for you I'm on the verge of throwing myself into it full schwing....
