How do I change the Navigation volume?

This is doing my head in
Any help would be well recieved
Its so annoying Ive even RTFM'd Smile

How do I up the volume on the nav when Im running with the ICE switched off?

All I can hear is a pitiful little voice somewhere from the front right of the screen
Its barely audible, especially at speed

How on earth do I turn the volume up please - or do I need the radio on?

And come to think of it will the same thing happen with my bluetooth phone
I havent got round to that yet?

MOR

The instructions for setting the phone and voice output volume is on page 262 of the Owners Manual, they are not in the Nav System Manual but basically:-
You need to switch on the radio, press and hold down the top part of the tone key (it has a music note icon on it) to the left of the on/off switch for the radio, for 10 secs and a menu will come up on the radio display, use the left hand radio knob to scroll through all the different volumes you can control until you find the Nav setting and the phone setting (they are seperate items), press the on/off knob in to select and adjust the volume then press the OK and scroll to the next one and repeat. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Is that a new setting Tim? I had to alter the nav volume on mine by turning it up/down when she was talking - although to be fair, it's not like I read the manual Whistle

Don't know S, my last RRS didn't have Nav! I can also adjust it by the volume control as the voice speaks. I had to reset mine after the car was in CHPR last week and the tech guys appear to have disconnected the battery to fit the driving lights as I had to reset the clock and trip comp and trip odo had been reset so I had to RTFM to get an audible volume on both the Nav and the phone 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Sorted!

Turn the stereo volume even though the stereos turned off

Genius LOL

And thanks for the manual tip Tim
Even if that page in my manual is a Euro type approval certificate

This site is very handy Smile
