The instructions for setting the phone and voice output volume is on page 262 of the Owners Manual, they are not in the Nav System Manual but basically:-

Is that a new setting Tim? I had to alter the nav volume on mine by turning it up/down when she was talking - although to be fair, it's not like I read the manual

Don't know S, my last RRS didn't have Nav! I can also adjust it by the volume control as the voice speaks. I had to reset mine after the car was in CHPR last week and the tech guys appear to have disconnected the battery to fit the driving lights as I had to reset the clock and trip comp and trip odo had been reset so I had to RTFM to get an audible volume on both the Nav and the phone 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
