i saw it from one of the threads earlier on one of forum member's modified RRS.
it think it was green one with HST front/rear + HST tip (+ 23" Rinspeed)
i just thought it looked fabulous and wanted to see if the similar arrangement can be made to mine.

when i was over briefly for the pickup, i spoke with the service guy but he said I cannot order because
my VIN no. is not cut out for such option.


Q1]How can I buy HST FF/RR bumper + exhaust tip only?
The cost? (preferably in primer coat for paint in buck blue later)

Q2]While I am at it, i am also considering color coding the side vent/grill surround/side mirror/side molding.
But, again, the guy at the service said that the mentioned parts are not made for painting and are likely
to be problematic in (soon enough) time. According to him, only HST parts are suitable for re-paint.
Is this really true? Any advice?

Q3]Any damages to the warranty for putting HST parts on a Non-HST car?
I am 100%++ satisfied with buck blue and have no intention to switch, even if that means not
doing anything at all. (Afterall, RRS looks stunning w/ or w/o cosmetics. )

Q4]Arden+Hamann twin exhaust vs. above?
What do you think?

You used to only be able to buy HST parts from a dealer if you had an HST VIN number. Not sure if that is still the case... in the meantime, keep an eye out on eBay.

I think the same logic applies Cyberjes... keep an eye on eBay for the single items coming up.

Or maybe you could drop CHPR or Perrys a quick email to see if their bodyshops have taken any off recently to replace with something else and ended up keeping?

I think the Green RRS you were referring to is mine.

I bought the HST kit (minus rear spoiler and front grill) in primer coat from Martin at DCC 4x4. He is a really helpful guy. Website is: www.dcc4x4sidebars.co.uk

He's based in the UK and I live in Portugal so he shipped it to me and I got it painted over here. I think he can get hold of the HST parts separately

I then sold the replacement parts so got a bit of my money back.

most dealers will accept a car registration number for ordering parts if you dont have a VIN number,go onto a dealers site,find an HST take the registration,phone the dealer and ask to order the parts you want,give them the registration number,all the HST details will come up and they will let you order the parts no problem,done this a few times for customers for the likes of bmw m3 bumpers and bmw m5 parts
