get it next week 09 tdv8 hse woohooooo

Hi All

I have just bought a 09 plate tdv8 in buckingham blue with ivory leather, get it on tuesday can't wait

swapped my 55 plate disco 3 tdv6 for it

can anyone please tell me if the tdv8 will use much more fuel than my tdv6 disco

About 1 mpg less than your D3 but in the first month about 10mpg less! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

Just come back from Loch Inver in a D3 tdv6 with a trailer and Argo cat on the back and five smelly blokes.

At a steady 65mph it's avererage consumption was 19mpg!!!!

Mine is 26mpg Thumbs Up

Wonder what mine would be towing that lot Bow down  SDV8 vogue SE.
Corris grey and ivory leather + most of the toys.
Limited edition RRS model number 0001 Smile
Gone TDV8 RR Sport. Never to be forgotten.

Wife has an i8 BMW

Shawn, for the first fortnight every time you pull out to overtake you will drive it like you did in the D3, dropping a couple of gears just to hear the exhaust rumble. Then you wake up one day and find there is so much torque you don't need to manually downshift to overtake you only need to use kickdown and it will fly away and still make all the right noises! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
