The dealers don't have to run quite as many demonstrators so there are less coming to market. Perrys For New & Used Range Rover Sports

Dealers will still have them on as demonstrators but in the past they may have had more than one of a particular model.

My old RRS was PX'd with a dealer - I think I hoodwinked him as I don't think he knew it had been offroad or been in an accident! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

you were lucky to get away with that. Every main dealer I have done a deal with has made me sign a declaration that no accident damage had been sustained to my PX vehicle. |

I think Tim has sort of answered his own question. A good quality used car is one that the dealer needs to do little to (or hopefully nothing at all to) to get it to Approved Used Car standards. So if the wheels are tarnished then they would need to be refurbished (not replaced!) and if there was a scratch then it would need to be polished or painted. Not sure why they suggested £3000

James, it wasn't my wheels the dealer commented on it was the TYRES so even less cost to replace. Also I think I caught them on a bad day! Best offer I have had for the Tdv8 was from the Aston Martin dealers - £35k (and the car was covered in road salt from a 50 miles motorway drive from home to Edinburgh and still has the repaired chip in the front screen) against one similar to this.
