On older sat nav systems it allowed you to use the sat nav on the move. From memory the hack involves bringing up the navigation option screen. Then touch the screen at the top edge, just to the right of the navigation wording, for about 4 seconds. A keypad appears into which you put 1791 and return. The system then works on the move until you next switch it off. RRS TDv8 HSE Rimini Disco 4 TDv6 HSE Ipanema Defender 90, 200tdi CSW |

There is a option to turn nav on the move with the dealer diagnostic tools , it may be worth asking them to enable it for you..

Well, my stealer didn't charge anything for that, or for running an iPhone charger cable from the glove compartment to the steering wheel. Of course, this is here in Liechtenstein, so perhaps we just have better customer service?

Same with all 3 of the supplying dealers I have used over the years - often find small jobs or repairs are done gratis or for a minimal charge especially if I just turn up and say "could you have a look at ................." . 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
