Scotland 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
hi from newbie and a few questions please!

Hi All

I have just bought a 2005 / 30k miles rr sport and it has a a few wee faults, i was wondering if anyone new if they were common faults and therefore a quick fix before it goes back to the dealer?

1/ the gear knob (auto 2.7 v6) seems loose

2/ the electric mirrors dont work

3/ the electric memory seats dont work

your thoughts are most welcome

cheers RG

I'm afraid the chances are that it will need a dealers spanner to fix that lot I'm afraid TDV6 - gone

fuse perhaps

Thanks,

I was thinking it might be a fuse as the mirrors and the seats may be linked via the memory function?

I am not picking the car up until i get home anyway in a few weeks so it will doubtless be fixed by then,
i have a 2004 shogun i can use if its not ready as the porker wont be out to play till the spring Smile

cheers RG

Did you buy this from a main dealer? They haven't done much of a pre-sale inspection if so... Confused

hi guys , thee has been one case of this at our garage, it turned out to be bad wiring in the drivers door, which was blowing the fuse for both the seats and the mirrors ( i think they would only work down and in because the bcm uses the earth path to use these directions.) the lver has two small plastic thingys(technical term!) which snap- new one required, they justv pull off and push on, with a firm hand. hope this helps, Richh they all do that!
