I was looking at 55 plates and 06's but found if I just pushed the budget a little more I could get someting a lot newer, I bought a 2008 (57) TDV6 a few weeks back with 11,500 miles on it for £28,500 the 2 years of warranty remaining was worth the extra, it is also unmarked! You can do better on price - there's a Supercharged for sale at the moment on site for under £20k.

See if you can get it on a ramp and get underneath - offroading isn't common but there are some offroaded examples on the market at the moment.........................

Most noticable difference is the performance............................... The 4.4 has the love of fuel that the 4.2S/C has but not the go!

The SC is a good deal imho. 14mpg compared to 24mpg but over £4k so you would have to do a huge amount of miles to make the TDV6 more economical. Feel the power of a Super Charged! It's great! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Agree, as much as I still love our TDV6 HSE I really do wish we had gone for the 4.2 S/C.
